kjgant.com is run by YOKJ Productions LLC, the business behind singer KJ Gant. This page explains what information we collect when you visit, join the email list or contact us, and what we do with it. We don't sell your information.
What we collect
When you join the email list, we collect your first name and email address. We also record how you found the signup form, for example a link from Spotify, a social media post or the QR code at a show, plus the date you signed up and confirmed.
When you open or click our emails, our email service records that activity so we can tell which emails people find useful.
When you send a booking inquiry or email us, we keep what you send so we can reply.
Show tickets are sold by venues and ticketing services such as Eventbrite. Their privacy policies apply to your purchase, and we never receive your payment details.
How we use it
- To send the emails you signed up for: new music, live shows and occasional behind-the-scenes updates.
- To see which links and channels bring new listeners, so we spend our promotion time well.
- To answer booking inquiries and messages.
Who helps us run things
We share information only with the services that run this site and our email list, and only so they can do that work:
- MailerLite stores the email list and sends our emails.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks that signups come from real people.
- Netlify hosts this website.
These services may use cookies or similar technology to run signup forms, block spam and measure email performance. This site also saves a small note in your browser about how you first arrived, such as a Spotify link or our show QR code, so a signup can be credited to the right channel. Clearing your browser data removes it. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email info@kjgant.com and we'll take care of it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're on the email list. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so you don't get added back by mistake. If you ask us to delete your information, we will.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll remove them.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
